Over the years, the increasing physical demands of your (child's) figure skating training have dramatically increased your (child's) risk of sports injury.

Children and adolescents are at special risk for injuries because most sports are not adapted to the motor skills of their specific age group. Adolescent growth spurt presents increased risk for sports injury.

  • Hear Principal Physiotherapist Mr Matthew Winter talk about “How Can You Effectively Recover from your Injury?”.

  • In Post Rehab & Mobility Specialist Lynn Ong’s presentation “Core & Strengthening Workout: Are you doing it correctly?”, she will elaborate and demonstrate how to execute various off-ice conditioning exercises correctly on The Gravity Training System, as well Rotational Bodyweight Training.

  • Get a better awareness of how and which muscles to work, so that off-ice conditioning exercises are effective and injury-free.
